Cardio Questions - How Much Cardio Should
I Do
Question: I'm 5'10 and about 145 pounds. I'm wondering about how often
I should concentrate on cardio (jogging/ walking) This week I ran about 11 miles
(split in 3 days), and paired that with 19 brisk walking miles. Is this enough
for adequate fitness training? How many miles/days should I exercise per week?
Answer: If your main goal is to get lean, then your cardio program sounds
great. Jogging/running is one of The best forms of burning serious calories and
dropping body fat. However, If your goal is to add muscle mass, then at your weight
I would recommend cutting back on your cardio and focusing on weight training
to add mass and strength.
