Exercise Questions - How Do I Build Up My Triceps?
Exercise Question:
I train all of my body very well and I'm quite satisfied, except
for my triceps. Every time I train my triceps, they tire out quickly
and I can't seem to get them in good shape. Would you suggest some
tips for me?
Exercise Answer:
Many times when someone's triceps burn out during training,
there is a direct effect on prior training of the chest and shoulders
which use the triceps as a secondary muscle group. Try to train
your biceps and triceps in a push/pull workout and make sure not
to train chest or shoulders on the same day. You might even try
taking a few days of rest completely after training your chest/shoulders,
just to make sure your triceps are completely recovered before directly
training them. A great push/pull workout for your triceps and biceps
would be:
Complete a total of 2 sets per exercise and focus on 8-12 reps
per set. This should build up your triceps and allow enough recuperation
time for growth!
