Exercise Questions - How Do I Get The Most Out
of My Exercise Plan?
Exercise Question:
I'm doing kickboxing in my room at home for my cardio since
I am aiming to lose weight. I do it for 45 minutes and my heart
rate does go up and I do sweat. My question is how do I know that
I'm getting the most out of my exercise plan?
Exercise Answer:
First of all, kickboxing is an excellent workout for dropping
body fat and toning your muscles! The best way to know if you are
training at the right intensity is by checking your breathing. Train
at a level where you are not gasping for breaths and not completely
exhausted. If you are breaking a nice sweat while training, your
most likely training at the correct intensity.
Another great thing you might try is to incorporate cross training
into your cardio routine. Do kickboxing for 30 minutes, then switch
right into jumping rope for 15 minutes and then jog for the last
10 minutes. This is a great way to burn a lot of calories and switch
things up a bit to keep your workouts fun and motivating!
