Exercise Questions - Can I Develop My
Shoulders With Dumbbells?
Exercise Question: I would like to develop my shoulders but my gym only
has dumbbells. Can you recommend a few good shoulder exercises which use dumbbells?
Also, what weight should I use?
Exercise Answer: In terms of the weights used, starts with a weight that
you can lift at least 12 times. You might want to grab very light dumbbells like
10 pounders to warm up and get a good feel. After you're warmed up, just increase
the weight by 5 pounds for each set. An example workout would look like this:
Make
sure to go by "feel" on each set and if it feels too heavy, go back
down to a lighter weight. You want to make sure and stay safe to avoid any injuries.
