Exercise Questions - Which Muscles Should
I Workout First?
Exercise Question: I have read that you should first workout a larger
muscle, then a smaller one. Is this correct?
Exercise Answer: You don't really need to workout a specific larger muscle
then a smaller one. Its probably more important to stick with exercises that work
your whole body and include smaller muscles as the "secondary" actions.
Such as:
Exercise: Barbell Squats Muscles: Quads, hamstrings,
calves, lower back, abs Main Focus: The major muscles worked here
are your legs (quads, hamstrings), but the squat also works your lower back, abs
and many other smaller muscles as the secondary muscle groups. Focus on
basic core exercises like the ones below and you will see your muscle mass and
strength increase:
