Bodybuilding Questions - How To Breathe When Working Out

bodybuilding questions answers Bodybuilding Question:
I'm a beginner bodybuilder and I would like to know about breathing. When lifting weights, when should I inhale and exhale?

bodybuilding questions answers Bodybuilding Answer:
When doing strength or resistance training, such as weight lifting, you should generally exhale on the exertion (or most difficult part of the exercise) and inhale on the recovery (easiest part of the exercise). For example, when doing the bench press, you should exhale when you press the barbell off your chest (concentric phase or difficult part), and inhale when you lower the barbell down to your chest (eccentric phase or easy part).
