Weight Training Questions - Knees Hurt During
Weight Training Question:
My knees are hurting even when I'm not doing anything. What
can I do to improve or what should I avoid doing when I'm exercising?
Some of my girlfriends are having the same problem and we are all
in different age groups (some younger and some older).
Weight Training Answer:
The first thing you should do is get your knees examined by
a physician. They can scan your knees to make sure you do not have
any tears or issues with the ligaments, etc. After you get checked
out, ask the doctor for specific exercises for strengthening the
knee for rehabilitation. The exercises we offer are more focused
on muscle building movements which apply a high amount of tension
on the knees and legs. Your first priority is to make sure you are
safe before starting these. The exam by a doctor will provide this.
