Weight Training Questions - Can I Lose 20 Pounds

Weight Training Question:
Would it be possible for me to lose 20 pounds in one month if
I start exercising and eating healthy today? I really need to lose
this extra weight for my high school reunion and I don't have a
long time to get the weight off!
Weight Training Answer:
Its probably "possible" but NOT recommended. By losing
this much weight very quickly, you will lose way too much muscle
which is your powerhouse tissue and actually helps you burn calories
throughout the day. Focus on losing 1-2 pounds per week. This way
you can maintain your lean muscle tissue and focus primarily on
losing body fat. You will also keep the weight off longer.
