Fat Burning Questions - Losing Weight After Stopping Exercise Plan

3 years ago I weighed 252lbs. I started eating healthily & exercising. I'm now 161 lbs. Except when I train then I'm 168lbs. However if I stop jogging for one week & relax a little on my usual healthy eating routine I find that my weight drops 7lbs. Can you tell me why my weight drops when I stop exercising., I would have thought if would be the other way around.

Yes, that is very strange that you would drop weight when you stop jogging and slip on your diet. For the most accurate way of really knowing what you're body is doing, I would recommend having your body fat percentage tested regularly. This will tell you if your losing hard earned muscle When you stop jogging or if you keep losing body fat (very unlikely). Go to your local gym and inquire about having a body fat test to determine your specific level. Most gyms will use either calipers or bioelectrical impedance. You might also want to look into a hand held body fat tester called the Omron HBF-306 Body Fat Analyzer.
