Fitness Models - Photos of Top Figure Competitor Michele Wood
Michele was born in the inner city of Chicago. She was raised in a single parent household, along with 3 sisters. She was very athletic as a child and considered a bit of a "tom boy". She fell in love with the sport of gymnastics at the age of 4. She was a competitive gymnast until the age of 17, when she signed up for the military. She left for the Army after completion of high school, and stayed in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Army for 6 years. While she was serving her country, Michele also attended college and dabbled in different careers. She was an aerobics instructor for many years, a hooters girl, and a flight attendant. Michele also modeled on occasion. She appeared on several episodes of the Jenny Jones show as one of the "Jenny Jones Babes". She has since left those jobs behind to pursue a career in law enforcement, though she continues to model. Michele graduated college with a GPA of 3.98. She has earned her B.S. in Law Enforcement Management and finally has her dream job. In 2004 Michele decided to compete with the Natural Body Building Association. She even won two 1st place titles and one 2nd place title at the 2004 Natural Olympia. Michele has appeared in many fitness magazines and was a demo model this year at the Arnold Classic at the VPX booth. She hopes to continue this type of modeling and competing.
