Tamara Carousos Biography:

My fitness career began a lot later in life than most other competitors! In 1998, I was your average American wife and Mother. I worked a full-time job, took care of my family and thought this was the life God intended for me to live.

I was like a lot of other women my age. I had gotten married, had children and in the process packed on more than 55 extra pounds! After a life-altering experience with a bathing suit in the Macy's fitting room, I knew I could no longer live like this!

With the loving support of my husband and family I entered a contest that would change my life forever! MaxMuscle's MaxFormation was the answer to a prayer! Through a lot of hard work and a change in my mind-set, I lost 55 pounds and resculpted my body to a lean, athletic look!

I was blessed to win my division and since have moved on to compete in women's figure and become a fitness model for a fitness wear company. I work as a motivational speaker, train on-line clients and help girls get ready for competition. At the age of 40, I am truly living my dream! My aim in life now is to inspire other women to achieve whatever their fitness goals are!
