I was planning on buying protein bars and shakes but then I went on a bodybuilder forum and was reading a thread and they were all talking about all the protein stuff they eat giving them really bad gas. They said its dairy proteins from cows(which they said are high quality proteins). And I was gonna buy Whey protein bars/shakes, and those are from cows!

I already have a gas problem where im sitting in class holding in a fart for 40mins.+ and in my school they only lets you go out of class to get a drink or use the bathroom once during class.

So im not gonna get protein bars/shakes cuz I dont want my anus to suffer anymore from holding in farts all day....

Everybody is different my man.

I have been consuming post workout protein shakes for about 3 months now and haven't had any problems with gas. It can be vitally important to have a good protein shake after a hard workout to get those muscles to grow.

My suggestion is to look at your current diet and see what could be causing your gas problem. Foods like beans, cabbage, soft drinks and excess fibre could be a cause.

Then once you have done that, possiblt give the protein a try. You will be amazed with the results

Plenty of things can cause Gas. Yes certain foods can, but also things like trapped air, which can occur from how much air you ingest, when you put food in your mouth, as some air you inhale, potentially when eating quite fast too, can end up being forced into the gut.

Not all air you breathe whilst eating, goes into the Lungs, so that forced air will come back out as either a Belch or a Fart.

That's one way you can end up getting more gas.

You shouldn't care about the gas in class. Let it go if people smell it so what. But tr to do it silent. LOL It is more bad for you to hold it then to let it go
