just little things will count such as playing w/ bro...maybe make up a table with options on it such as playin w/ bro, go for a walk after dinner etc...think up as many as you can and make it a point to do 1 of thiose things each day as well as your workouts but at seperate time...if night's are fine as it would be being summer of there, do them after dinner...nothing strenuous though

last summer i used to play a lot in my bike, just for fun, around the house....then i started looking at it as a workout, and i lost imy interest.
I'd like to play with my bike again, but i can't play outside (for several reasons, i wouldnt like to talk about), so i have the space at home (which is decent), until they built something big around the house (forgot what it's called), so now I don't have the same space..and it's hard to ride my bike.

But I'll consider it..i play for like 20 minutes...b4 it was 50 mins, but last time i playd it was like 15-20 mins, for fun...

i used to always go out at night, and just spend time walking in our backyard..just like that, to think...damn i should do that more often!

U grow old, and u becom lazy and fat.
Laughing i find it so true.

I was in a GREAT shape, until i reached puberty.
I swear i had no BELLY at all...and then my body changed..and I got lazy...='(.

Girl, it's called feminine curves!!! Get use to it. You are a girl Not a boy and are meant to have curves not be stick thin. At 13 I had so many curves that people thought I was 18, I wasn't fat I was curvy. If you were 13 I could see that it would bother you but at 17 you should embrace your curves as feminine and beautiful. Ask most guys and they'll take a curvy girl over a skinny one. And I said most guys not all.

It's one thing to be curvy and quite another to be fat. Every woman needs a certain amount of fat on her body for her body to function properly. If you don't have it you will be run down and medical problems will be forthcoming. A healthy body is more important than a so-called perfect body. There's no such thing as a perfect body. No matter what you do as soon as you get one part of your body to where you think you want it you'll become unhappy with another part. It's just the way the human psychy works.

My bit of advice... work on having a healthy body over and above a perfect one.

My curves are covered with a lot of fat, I want to remove some of it. B4 my curves were 100% fat, i know that. I'm lean now, but have some fat covering the back of my hips, and it looks wrong, even if i lost some more far, my body shape won't change much...i dont want to be boney, or totally skinny or something, but i just want to get rid of the fat covering my hips, and my stomache...and im working on 'em...i think =P.

I know...but i dont care what GUYS like..Im doing this for me, for myself. I want to like me first.

I didn't mean to imply that you were doing it for the guys. It was just a statement.

And I hope that you don't base whether or not you like or dislike yourself on your ability to lose the fat.

You're 17 right? You're only just getting out of the puberty stage and you're body hasn't quite adjusted to it's new shape yet. You have a few more changes coming yet. As you get older the weight will keep shifting. Sometimes just by remaining active people find the weight coming off.

Good luck in your endeavor for a healthy body. Smile

lol, i know that wasn't what you meant, i just needed to say it, that im doing this for myself first.

Hm..no not really, that's not what I base myself on =P..that would be pure sad!

yep, im 17..when i was a kid i was chubby, like the rest of the kids, but once i became about 4+...ive been skinny as hell. Then puberty kicked in earyl, and my body changed crazingly. I used to think my womb area was a belly. Now, i miss that body when I was 13...I was actually DAMN FINE! lol

But my eating habits slipped, and I never really got fat, i always kept myself in somewhat shape...but i always lose it, and get a belly, then lose it again..it's just hoiw my body functions these last few years...well, i hope once im outta puberty, I'll be in a danm good shape. Wink

lol That clears up alot! yeah it's just the puberty thing playing havoc with you.

By the time your in your later teens to the twenties you should be fine. Then the hormones tend to level out and you shouldn't have many more problems so long as you keep active and eat sensibly.

Then if you should happen to meet someone special and start a family you get the fun of going through the hormone upheaval all over again. LOL But I tell ya it's worth it! After the kids then no more problems until menopause, which unfortunately for some people starts early Shocked

*sigh* men seem to have it sooo easy! My husband just has to run a little bit and he loses the weight he wants while I struggle with it. Rolling Eyes

Oh well, c'est la vie!

I feel you, i swear. Their metabolism is like lightening & thunder...Eh..I really do hope when im 20 or so, if i live THAT long, i'll be settled and all...I've been told the girls who eat and eat and never gain weight or fat or so...ater they get pregnant, the weight is harder for them to lose, the ones who used to workout, and such...is that true?

I want to feel good abt myself for once...

You'd be surprised at the number of girls that I meet nowadays that were skinny in high school but are overweight now from having kids. I have to admit tho that I'm one of them. But when I was in my teens I didn't really have to work at staying thin. I was naturally active and the weight stayed off but after I got married and started having kids I just got so busy that the exercise took a back seat. My kids came first. But they're older now so it's time for me.

It's only harder for them to lose the weight if they stay inactive. The longer they're inactive the harder they have to work to get the weight off. And that's where I'm at right now. Getting off my duff and becoming more active. I can't believe that I let myself get this way but that's going to change.

So I guess in answer to you're question it's a yes and no answer because it depends on how much they let themselves go.

I just thought of something! Have you tried doing pilates? As you're doing the workout it doesn't feel like it's doing anything but the next day I tell you your stomach is sore!!

It's a good ab workout for flattening the abs.

Another for arms and abs try doing the oldfashioned wheelbarrow races. Very Happy It's fun and gives a good workout. You said you have a brother I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing it with you.

Aha, i see.

The thing is, there are many girls, who eat lsooo much and aren't the "very active" type, or active as normally as I am, and still are skinny. They eat all the macdonals they want, and dont get a blly, if i eat macdonald for one meal in 2 weeks, id get a belly =S! A huge one too!
