Hi
Today i worked out my legs and chest -
Legs:
-Squats
-Stiff Leg Lifts
-Walking Lunges
-45 Degree leg Pres
Chest:
-Bench Press
-Incline Bench Press
After i worked out my back/ down to bottom of my spine started to hurt.
After doing the squats thats when it began to hurt.
Next morning i woke up and my back started to hurt when i bend it. Is this normal? Or am i doing something wrong? For Stiff Leg Lifts i couldnt figure out what it was so i searched and found Stiff Leg Deadlifts and did that instead. Are they the same type of thing or not? |

| As far as your back pain is concerned, it sounds like you may need to correct your form. When doing most exercises (i.e. squats) you are encouraged to keep your back straight. You will always run the risk of injury if you don't do this. If you are new to weights or have recently adpated your workout plan, you should and probably will feel a slight ache due to tears in your muscle fibres. But i'm guessing you may have strained your lower back due to poor form. You should perhaps get some rest then go back to your workout but focus on 'form' rather than how much you can lift. Hope this helps mate. All the best |

| technique is probably an issue, best to go light for squats and deads 1st until form is near perfect...there also might be some postural problems there as well...i've got some lordosis happening (where you hips tilt down to the front towards your feet and bum sticks uip and out at the rear) and that causes stiffness (not so much pain though) in the lower back after certain lifts...is it "pain" or "stiffness"?? |

| I think its more towards stiffness. Because like its not pain wher if i bend back it hurts like hell its more like after it hurst i start to stretch a bit and that kinda takes the hurt away. I can still bend my back etc but it doesnt hurt to the level where i can hardly move etc. |

have a look at what i described about lordosis...just try and tilt pelvis towards roof or thrusting if you will...if there's a bit of movement there them you probably have it...have a look at this:

you should be able to see what your to do on this
let me know how you go |
