I was just curious whilst I was sitting here to know what made people join this site.
For me it was the fact it was a nice size, not really big, and had good content, good sections and members, and it wasn't like some with 10,000+ members, about 70% of which post, where potentially there was bitching, or too many egos.
I found this site quite user friendly, and well layed out, with enough knowledgeable people, so I didn't feel pressured into being some kind of board oracle, or a lone ranger of some kind. I knew some others were good for knowledge and info. |

1. I've been using the shapefit site for quite sometime and find it is very informative, figured the forum would be the same.
2. The layout is easy to navigate
3. The layout is not gender specific - neutral color, no naked chicks or wight loss ads, no sidebar with annoying ads for protien bars and such.
4. The background color is not black with shiny, metallic, embossed, eroded or over photoshopped text treatments (When will they learn?).
5. The content is mature enough not to include bashing and too many dick questions.
Just my humble general opinion.
