|
|
I've had multiple people give me different suggestions on how to effectively burn the remaining fat on my body.
I am just wondering if this is true... A bloke told me the most effective way is to go to the gym early in the morning to mid-day on an empty stomache and train, doing large amounts of cardio. Which makes me wonder, wouldn't that burn a significant amount of muscle too?
I am currently on a high calorie intake, since I am training for strength but I want to reduce my body fat %.
Thanks. |

Yes it would, bad idea.
Keep working with weights, heavy/low rep. You'll build muscle and burn fat |

Bad advice.
You don't want to be doing lots of Cardio on an empty stomach, you'll be doing something that lowers Bloodsugar when you're Bloodsugar is already low. You want to eat before workouts, so your body, and moreso your Brain has some carb sugars to work with, as it needs some Sugar. |

| if focusing on strength you don;t need to be on a muscle building diet...strength work requires less energy as reps per set and overall total volume is lower as well as muscle damagae asd the time under tension isn't long enough to induce high high muscle damage...5 - 10% over maintenance if that should do the job depending on cardio activity and metabolism |
