Hi
I want to work my hams and i try to do it with the rumanian deadlift but everytime i end up working my lower back
Nothin wrong with workin my lower back the dl feels really good,, i, is the most enjoyable exercise for me but the rumanian i still can't get it to target my hams
wot am i doin wrong?

Maybe coz ur spelling it wrong
on a serious note are doing these with back arched too much?
another reason could be that you are bending your knees too much and not hitting your hamstrings ?

My advice would be to do single leg RDL with dumbbells they are great single leg exercise and will work more hamstrings with less stress on lower back. |

I'm reading the article and I think u're right on my extra arched lower-back ...next monaday is leg day and will try to corect that to c what happens

I did some Romanian yesterday with BB ...it felt okish but not yet there ...I guess there are not shortcuts i just have to keep trying it until I get the cookie!
