im sure it is but, is it ok to switch the upper and lower body days around? id rather do cardio after an upper body day rather than a lower body day.

Can't see a problem with that, in the case of most systems.

I would say though fior better muscle recovery don't do Cardio that stimulates the upper body, after training it, so things like Rowing Machines, Ellipticals etc etc, go for things like a Treadmill, or an Exercise Bike, as there's no direct involvement of Arms etc etc, so upper body muscles shouldn't fatigue too much more if at all, if you do Cardio that way after training upper body.

I did this program back in September and it's good.
Not sure why you'd switch anything around, do your cardio on the off days or just do it after the upper days. Maybe I don't get what your asking, maybe you mean do day 2 then day 1, take 2 days off as prescribed and then do day 5 and day 4?
Whatever you do make sure the pairings are correct (1&2 or 2&1, not 1&4 etc.)

if it was optimal then he would have written it as such...you can change it around but it won't be optimal

my fault, i didnt explain it very well. im going to lift on mon, tue, thur, fri and cadio on wed, and sat. what i was asking was is it ok to do an upper body on tues, and fri because when i was doing the waterbury method it was really hard for me to do sprints after doing calf raises, leg curls, and lunges. my legs were pretty sore. i did it though. i just thought switching the days around might make it easier.
