This question included in another post has inspired another post. Is this as versatile a trainer as it seems? If not could someone suggest something in the same or lesser price range?

like is said it alows for 2 basic exercises and it's variations which aren't many...you're better off getting some more wts

I'll mount this in a doorway for pull-ups Door Pull Up Bar Exerciser

Using the saved cash for adding on dumbbells for 50-100 lbs. (5lbs increments)

get some small wt plates too...the samllest you can get (.5kgs, 1,25kgs etc)...have you a barbell? if not get one of those too

adjustable db's would have been better...a barbell should be next in your agenda as well simply more plates than your good to go
