Do your FULL squats.
Half squats
Pros: None
Cons: Not as good as a full squat
Full Squat
Pros: Big legs
Cons: Getting tired because they kick your ass. |

| Deadlifts are good for your back you should be using your hips when deadlifting so they are good for your legs too. |

| deadlifts train rate of force development which is basically the more force you can put into the ground which will result in more force being put out resulting in quicker running...think pulling a rubber band as far as you can and letting go of it |

Personally I don't know if deads or squat as made my speed increase this winter while not sprinting at all ... |

| deadlift actually work your posterior chain which aids in sprinting. If you watch Olympic sprinters run they seem to glide which is because of using the posterior chain more than the quads. Also sprintingvis a full body movement legs abs arms etc. (imagine sprinting without pumping your arms lol) |

they're not the same...
squats use a plyometric effect when transitioning form the lowering to lifting phase where deadlifts start from the ground so you need more force to overcome the wt from a "standing start"...think jumping with a 5sec pause vs a proper jump...test it and notice the huge difference
good post timmahhh |
