|
|
I have changed my diet and eat extremely well. I run close to 10 miles a week. (i started about 2 weeks ago and am about 20lbs overweight)
My question is this: I only do sit up and crunches. Will i eventually get a six pack by keeping up with this regimen? Or do i need to include all of the other ab workouts that i see on this site?
Thanks for the suggestions! |

sit ups and crunches do not strengthen, tighten, decrease widdth etc the core..they do nothing really
you need wts and stabilisation exercises as suggested... and i am assuming ashitload more protein and veggies and less crap food |

Having above 20% bodyfat, I seldom entertain the thought of having a 6 pack and I don't normally do core specific work. However, I was wondering that if I did somehow get below 10% bodyfat, I would have abs since I work out 4-5x a week and abs are worked as stabilizers in many compound movements. You mention, swanso, that crunches/situps aren't much good. |
