-I have been following the diet and workout plan and I am seeing small results

-will my current Cardio workouts have me prepared for playing lacrosse in the spring?
-I was looking to possibly increase my endurance and was wondering if it were possible to make one cardio session a longdistance run (45 min)?

what cardio are you doing now??

you dont need more endurance, you need need more anarobic endurance attained through repeated sprints...that's what you do in lacrosse, you don;t jog the whole time...train like you play

-I'm alternating HIIT sessions and sprinting sessions every other day( non-lifting days, with one day off a week)

-that makes sense
-what is an example of a good sprinting session?

-Sprinting is a form of HIIT
-What I personally call a good sprinting session is :

50M 100% Speed, then walk back to start point and sprint again. Do this until you believe your bellow 70% of your first sprint speed. Normally you will make between 3-10 sprints. Short, intense, as I like.

-one session is a 1 minute sprint and 1 minute jog alternating for about 15-20 min.

-the other is close to what you outlined:
40 yrds sprint there, wait 30-45 sec sprint back( usually can get 6-8 )

-stupid question, but sprinting will make my 40 yard dash faster over time?
