Eric

If you train your core now then the rest of your body will appreciate it for life. I would be a little wary of putting you onto any proper weights program just yet because from the one photo here I would be inclined to say that you have some growing yet to do- as a track & field coach I would be inclined to get your running gait checked over, spend $70-80 on a decent pair of running shoes and hit the park, trails or woods with a couple of your friends and challenge one another to complete a circuit of say 3 miles with various stops for push-ups, sit-ups, star-jumps, squat thrusts, pull-ups (tree) etc...
A circuit like this, twice a week, combined with a the running and messing around that 14 year olds do should start firming up your wobbles- pretty soon the testosterone will kick in and if you're an active young teen then your body will burn whatever you throw at it... just steer clear of the double arches and instead snack on the fruit, nuts and cereals that nature throws our way!
