| What one of my friends did was get a hard chinstrap with a smooth inside, then wrapped it with a wristband. He got a couple of wristbands and after each practice he'd switch them out and clean them eventually. What I'd do is just loosen my bottom two buttons whenever I was on the sideline so the strap wasn't in contact with my chin. Also, during water breaks squirt some water on your chin to wash off any dirt/oil that may accumulate in the strap. The last thing I'd say is wash your face as soon after practice as possible. |
