That is the strangest piece of motivation I've ever heard of.

If I do well I can choose my fellas tat.

Hay whatever works for you that's fine, as the saying goes, different strokes for different folks, and sometimes it's good to be different Smile.

Maybe he should get a semi-permanent one though, just incase he doesn't like it, and not to mention how it might look in 50 years, when his skin's a bit wrinkly and saggy.

Nothing worse for a guy than to get old, and end up with saggy tats Wink .

HAHA I don't think I will let him get one honestly. I have one on my calf that is a symbol for "survivor." I just can't see him with a tat anyways. I just thought it was humorous that he said it so I will have him sweating over the bet while I am on my way to being awesomely strong and fit Very Happy

I have one too, but I'm not worried about it sagging later. It would be easy to hide.

[Well I hear you. I binge at least 2-3 daays a week. After a good week I blow it every weekend into monday..once it starts it a mind game and when to quit, or one more day wont hurt, I will get my shite together tomorrow, blahhhhhhhhhhh I'm currently putting on weight, so this is the time it will end, but I cant lose weight when I start the cycle every week. I eat the forbiddon foods, chocolate, cheese, butter, breads, what ever i consider a junk food is my addition. I hate myself, I just wish I could get ride of the demon haunting my life. I have the all or nother thinking casue if I try to be healthy adding in a cheat, the addition takes over and it may not be a binge day one, but day 2 it will................Tips for past bingers?
I also skip the gym during these days, fat............it very consuming. Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad

Yes. I've posted this sort of thing befor,e so I'll post it here again, this might help you.

These are ideas you can use to boot out the problem.

1. Ditch all the junk. It's a hard thing to see it in the bin, especially when it cost money to buy, but you must first cleanse your living space, to begin the process.

You must do this immediately, don't eat it, get rid A.S.A.P. If you procrastinate, you will lose your nerve, and you will end up eating it, and making excuses for doing it too.

2. When you buy food, NEVER use a card of any type, as it's all too easy to buy extras without thinking about it.

You should find an old receipt, and then add up all the value of the good food, and then when you next go out shopping, give yourself about $5-$10 money over that, incase some stuff went up.

If you can just about afford to buy the good stuff, what will happen when you have a choice at the checkout, between something like a Tub of Ice cream and a Bag of Carrots, because you haven't enough money for those plus the other stuff?

You'd put the Ice Cream back on the shelf, because if staying in budget meant pitching the Carrots instead, you would struggle to do that, knowing it was the wrong choice.

3. Reward yourself. Whatever the cost of the junk is, you can obviously afford to buy it, so when you have worked out what your last lot of good food cost, get a jar or container, (label it something like Clothes and Luxuries in big letters), and put the monetry value of the junk into it, and then give yourself a reward date, say once every month, or once every two months for example, and then you can spend the money you would have spent on junk food, on things like Clothes, CD's, DVD's etc etc, so in a way, if you want clothes or luxuries, you are telling yourself, that they must be earned.

The trade off being the junk. the reward being the clothes and or little luxuries once every month or two or three.

If you do these things, you eliminate the food in your house, and deny yourself the ability to buy more, unless you were to raid the jar / container, and sneak out at night to buy junk, at which point you should get the lightbulb in your head saying, NO.

Also if you live with others, this makes it a little harder, in which case wherever the food is kept, have a shelf or shelves for yours, and then you seperate your food from theirs. You can't force them not to buy junk, but by keeping their junk and other food, seperate from yours, you make it less easy to sneak any of theirs, when you have to make more of a conscious effort to get it.

Does this sound like something you can do? Remember, if you're not strong on this, and you don't pitch that bad food out A.S.A.P. you will be more likely to fail.

I believe this strategum will be something workable, and feasible if you stick to it, and are strong. then you don't need any "experts" lecturing you, or hypnosis to make you change or anything like that.

It's a simple three point strategy, pitch the food, pay for more with money, have enough to money to get the good stuff, not junk as well.

Hopefully that makes sense.
