And I don't mean anything suss with the word "altogether" lol.
Basically what I want is to increase my muscle mass and bone density.
I am 17 this December and I do regular workouts every 2 or 3 days. I've been taking the Musashi Protein Blend and the Growth Enhancer supplement. My diet is not "da bomb"; I have mixed veges with various meats with rice practically every dinner, a bowl of cereal every breakfast and usual canteen food such as pies and stuff for lunch. You might ask how much I eat, and yes, I eat a lot.
When I improve, my muscle mass doesn't really increase, I only get more "bumps" or more definition.
Imagine Bruce Lee, he's a really skinny guy with a really defined body - that's my build. Everyone says that my metabolism is just unbelievably high and in some way, I wanna slow it down. But all exercises are surposed to increase metabolism and anyway, so I feel kinda stuck right now.
So at 16 years and 2 weeks old, my body features include:
Height: 5 foot and 1.5 inches (about 157cm)
Weight: 48 to 49kgs
Waist: 66.5cm
Chest: 80cm
Wrist: 14cm
Ankle: 19cm
Bicep: 27cm
You can imagine that's pretty skinny, so can anyone help?[/b] |

I read about that stuff and I'm not convinced. The fact it sounds almost like a Cancer cure, sounds too good to be true. I also did a little research.
You might be surprised to know that you can do "legal" people searches over the internet.
This is the evidence of most of the American testimonials, Americans, claiming the product to be great
21 Michael Ho's, excluding those listed with a middle name, or initial of middle name.
No Walker Stockton. About 8 W stocktons, no evidence W stands for Walker
Dwayne Demilia, potentially non-existant, no listing
Lisa Chu. Potentially non-existant, no listing
Lisa Lim. Approximately 8 in California
Mike Chaney. Potentially non-existant, no listing
S Bradbury. No evidence S mean steve
C Chong. No evidence C stands for Chris
Fabian Wang. Potentially non-existant, no listing
You might wonder what that means, but in terms of the people supposedly saying the product is great, they either don't exist, they might exist, but the proof is inconclusive, or they exist, many times over.
To me it looks like those Testimonials are faked, I think they are not genuine, which worries me, especially as the product claims to do about 30 different things, but sounds like something you could achieve, for the most part, taking Glutamine, Flaxseed Oil, and a Multi-vitamin.
I would therefore do internet searches for this product, and look for real provable testimonials, I.E. on other messageboards. Don't believe what it says on a website that offers, deal, or discounts. You don't know if the information, is 100% legit, or a marketing ploy.
If such internet searches prove a bit difficult to come by, then wait a few months and do another search, as by then some people may have used it, and come on a board like this, and told people what they think.
For the price, it's an expensive mistake if it does nothing. |

My dad take it as well, and at age 52, he is growing again! I'm kinda jealous, lol. Yeah, I didn't believe that cancer comment either... I don't know. To me, it seems like it has a few benefits but they over exagerrate the product's effects. I only wanted something to make me get taller anyway, I didn't care about the "extras".
But we're kinda going off track.. I don't think the product is stumping my growth since all it's done is make me grow about 5mm. So if we disregard the product, is there a way to answer my question anyway? |

The 5mm is probably down to your Testosterone anyway.
It could be the way you're training, I would say try to workout your Upper body muscles, with a 6-8 rep range, so you work the muscles a lot harder.
You may well be doing higher reps.
For things Like Quads and Hamstrings, around 10-12 reps, and Calves around 15-18. Calves should repsond better to more prolonged Sets.
It could also be your diet, it could very well require you to add more Protein to your diet, and some extra Carbs. |

Yeah, you're probably right about the 5mm of growth.
And with the reps, what workouts are you recommending with that? I don't have much equipment... I have 2x 2.5kg weights, 2x 5kg weights, two dumbbells and an exercise ball.
I've also decided to take up running or going for jogs in the early morning now to work out my legs; do you think that the cardio would cause me to lose weight? My body stores hardly any fat so.. it wouldn't really, would it?
And with my diet, I'll give your advice a go. |

I've already listed some reps for you in one of my previous answers. Just don't go nuts on the weights. The reps should feel hard, but not to the point where you start practically spitting.
You could jog but keep it simple, no excessive speed, and flat surfaces where possible, and I would say don't exceed 20 minutes at this point. |

| Awesome, I'll do that and when it begins to get too simple, I'll jack it up a little more =] Then I'll work from then. |
