You probably are anyway, doing 3 hours a day. So anything more won't risk overtraining, it'll just compound the problem, you're almost certainly getting off 3 hours a time.

I mean 3 hours and definitely 5 hours, can be overtraining.

With sincere respect, you should not need to go beyond about 1.5 hours a session. Any more than that, could be overtraining, and you might get the results taking more time like you do do, but you might find 20 years from now, you could be physically burned out, and you're taking your body places that in the future it won't be able to go.

I bet this Jessica Alba person doesn't train 5 hours at a time, or 3, and if she does, she's getting ropey workout advice.

I can't in any way believe that

A: Those levels of exercise are healthy, or allow for sufficient recovery.

B: You couldn't maintain your results doing less work, I think you could, and you should.

I'm not ripping on you, I respect you, but I couldn't allow you to continue in the same manner, without giving you a polite warts and all appraisal, from an outsiders viewpoint. I wouldn't have felt right.

Hope you'll understand, I said this for your own sake, not to have a poke at you Smile.

Bossman is right. Exercising that much is not necessary, healthy, or helpful in getting a fit, lean body. Exercising more than an hour a day is only necessary for very serious athletes such as long distance runners. When exercising that much it's extremely important that nutrition be close to perfect. The metabolism can be drastically hurt if it isn't.
Overtraining is v ery common for people who exercise even half of what you do. This can mean frequent illnesses, injuries, fatigue, irritability, lack of progress toward goals, muscle mass wasting, and so on. I'm sure you will say none of these are happening to you, but trust me they will. It's my job. I work with people who have overtrained very often and see the results.
