skipping/jump rope

need to ask a question.

why isit everytime i skip..the sole of my feet hurts?

example like if its my right feet ,the right part of the sole of the feet hurts...so does the left

any1?

it's something different, your feet will get used to it quickly though....maybe even your footwear

anywya..im busy with school again...my only free time for workout is...monday,tuesday,thursday and friday only..1hr 30 mins per day

monday,thursday - skip for about 20 minutes (excludes resting) , [push ups,crunches,Fingers To Heel Oblique Touchers,Bent Knee Abdominal Hip Raises ( all for 3 sets x 15)]...and lifting dumbell 3kg, 3 sets x 30...alternate arms

tuesday,friday - skip for about 45 minutes (excludes resting ) , Lying Supine 3 sets x 15, Single-Leg Calf Press 3 sets x 30 , and then theers this excercise where u jump like a frog then when u are in teh air u strech ur body straight ,something like burpees but without the push ups part

so what do u think?isit good?

maybe try alternating sets of skipping x 1min as fast as you can with a set of an exercise you listed...others to try include:

1 db snatches 4 x 20 each arm
step ups
reverse lunges
lying leg raises
diamond push ups
find something to pull up / chin up / inverted row on if possible

is skipping a good cardio?and isit bad for the knees?

Skipping is goo Cardio. There's no real problem for the Knees, unless you did it on a Concrete surface perhaps.

but if u see my routine, im skipping 4 times a week ..monday 20 mins , thurs, 20 mins...tues 45 mins , fri 45 mins

isit more than enough?

and btw after 2 months of doing this..ive lost 2kg ..and gain some height ..which makes me 62 kg and 173 cm ryte now..^^

probably the 2 x 20min sessions mixed with sprints on another day and some machine interval cardio another is probably a perfect mix

A possible reason for the sore feet could be that you have 'flat feet'. I have it. It's pretty easy to fix with custom insoles.
