| Is it safe to work your abs everyday or should you give them a few days of rest in between like with other muscle groups? What frequency will give the most positive results? |

| abs are the same as any other muscle and needs recovery time after direct training...2/week should be enough as they get trained every time you move...that being said i don't do any ab work at all but have a 6 pack from a clean diet and doing basic compound exercises which is really how 6 packs are made |

| What basic compound exercises do you do that help to define your abs? |

I pretty much agree.
3x a week is all Abs really need at most, if you choose to isolate them.. |

they won't define them...clean diet will define them...these will train them with heavier loads making them stronger...if you have strong abs than with a low bodyfat you'll have a 6 pack for sure
best exercises:
deadlifts
squats
prints
plyometrics
standing shoulder presses |

I do have a clean diet and my stomach is pretty flat. My ab muscles just aren't very strong. Thanks for your advice. I will start trying these different exercises. |
