just read this article by Chad Waterbury and wondered has anyone done this or what anyone thinks of it- it seems to go against the lifting heavy for women who want the leaner look and who dont want to bulk up. He seems to be saying that women will get big muscles from lifting heavy- any thoughts appreciated
Thanks

Well all I can say is, Big lifting for women, only stimulates decent muscle growth, with a solid diet.

A: Women have less tesoterone than men.

B: If a woman eats about 1,800 calories a day as an example, with only 100g Protein, 400 calories a day, how on earth would a women get big muscle? Even a man with higher Test, would probably not exceed about 160lbs of lean build on that kind of ratios, and would be eating less then he should for his activity levels.

Also most big muscle on women is derived from A.A.S. Yes a women could naturally get maybe 13-13.5" Arms natural, but anything more would ultimately involve Steroids.

sexy female training is geared towards competitors / advanced trainers...you'd need to be slim for it to work properly so you'd strip off the fat you have then build up specific areas (shoulders, lats etc) to give you a V look...it wouldn't work as well if you still are a little chubby i wouldn't think

yes keep lifting heavy for fat loss just eat clean, you'll lose fat sometime

CW took a lot of flack for that article.
Although I've used it and his Figure Training programs and they do work, but maybe as an add in if your primary focus is weight loss.
