Dear Readers,

First, thanks for reading. I'd like to start by saying I've tried EVERYTHING. From hypnosis to weight loss camp, to the gym and everything in between. Nothing seems to keep the weight off.

So, the stats, I am 14 Years Old and weigh 210 pounds. I am 5' 6", therefore have a BMI of 33.8

I would like to lose 25 pounds by August 20th of this year (about 90 days.) I have some money saved up for a few weeks of anything like Jenny Craig.

I'm not very good at sticking to commitments, like the gym, yet I do have access to one.

Please help me! I really need to lose the weight to impact both my health and social life [that I may or may not have!]

Well I was in your same shoes at that age and all you can do is stick with it. You don't know how much I wish I would have started then instead of two years later.

For diet go to the diet section and read "read before posting."

For lifting look up "your body is a barbell" by cosgrove.

I would also have to say that at 14, I'm certain you are not doing all of the grocery shopping and cooking. Have you talked to your parents about supporting you with this?

Actually my parents are the biggest supporters of my life. I go grocery shopping with my mom every week. Money needs to be saved at the store though.
