Depends. what you want and what it's priced at.
On the one hand shops often may sell slightly higher than websites, as they have higher running costs, os they will factor that into your price.
This isn't always the case though.
Service wise, websites can be problematic, owing to them being what could be called, the "faceless corporation".
You cannot necessarily get consumer satisfaction, if you deal with sites that aren't entirely true to their word, or send you faulty purchases, which is one downside.
At least shops can't wiggle out of stuff as easily, if you're complaining in someones face.
So it depends on what you want to do.
There's pros and cons to both, so I'd say know your buyer, know the terms, and make the choice.
Which means do a bit of homework. Compare prices, and find out trading policies, I.E. delivery times, returns policies, complaints procedures.
It's buyer beware, so know your seller first, then you don't get stung. You can't claim ingonrance if you try to screw a company, over something you can't, because you didn't know that to start with.
Hopefully that helps. |

I totally agree with what was said concerning SOME online supplement companies. Bottom line is that you can go broke shopping at GNC, or your local supps. store. I run a legit company and the bottom line is that my prices and satisfaction can't be beat. As a matter of fact, if you visit our site and find something cheaper, some place else. We will attempt to beat the price, short of giving it away.
I started that concept after becoming a personal trainer for a high school for football, track, and basketball. I was telling these kids to consume protein, amines, and vitamins and minerals. They were complaining about the cost of the supplement in the store. What's was I do except come up with a way to help them. So, I started the company. Now all the high school/college athletes in the area get affordable supplements from us. So, there are some good companies out there, you just have to find one. Good luck bro. |

Great thread,
Nutrition represents an important concept that should be given more attention in the educational system. Our ability to recognize nutritional requirements and to find the foods that meet those requirements is a critical part of good health. We need to learn the difference between healthy eating and unhealthy eating habits if we want to live long and healthy lives. We need to incorporate good nutrition into our lifestyles. |
