Hi,
I've been training for 12 weeks and have nearly completed my second different training program which has been developed by a fitness instructor which incorporates circuits, pyramid sets and different mixtures of strength training exercises. I've also recently incorporated cardio into my weekly routine.
I have definitely seen all over muscle gain and the level of weight I can lift on each machine has significantly improved. However, the factor which is putting me off is that I have not seen any weight gain on the scales. This does not seem normal to me after hearing that people put on a considerable amount weight in muscle. If anyone could explain this to me or offer any advice it would be much appreciated

- you'll gain strength before muscle and the chances are you're not eating anywhere enough to put on wt
- tell your instruvtor there are 1000 better ways then pyramid sets, they're rubbish really
- you also may have gainesd muscle and lost fat at the same time which can explain the no wt gain but you will look differetn if this happened |

| Don't look at the scale first(too many factors varying our weights, difficult to tell if you really lost fat or really gained muscles), look at the mirror. Much better. |
