I don't have the money to afford the gym and all i have is a pair of dumbells and some weights.
I'd like to workout my chest especially and arms, triceps, back, shoulders and shrugs
I have excess fat on my stomach and chest, what workouts do you all reccomend? |

There are a host of pushups you can do. And you can do dips for tri's and chest. If you can muster some money, get a chinup bar. Lots of bodyweight exercises can be had to get you into pretty good shape if size is not your goal. If you want to get big or at least bigger you are going to need some more weights if you can't join a gym.
Bodyweight exercises and a good clean diet can shape you up pretty good. |

Well since you say you're fat you need to burn most of it first.
Do cardio 3-4 days a week, and do exercises for abs the other 3 days. |

Not to appear rude, but I personally think he'd be better doing about 2-3 sessions of things like Interval, Sprints HIIT etc etc, for about 30 minutes a time, and do weights 3 times a week, and alter his diet.
Just load of Cardio and Abs, won't be that effective, but Abs could be included with weights, or after a Cardio session

Yeah, works too. Depends on how fast, and what he wants.
In less than 5 weeks doing high intensity cardio and abs I got my six pack, though I have to admit I never was fat.
EDIT: Yeah your method is better for what he wants. I didn't quite read the chest part.
I'd like to point out though, that getting skinny and getting a lot of muscle mass isn't possible at the same time, since they're contradictory methods. |
