Hi Mike,
Good job on being so active! That is great!
I'm not sure exactly what your goals are but I would say that is a bit too much running. Running is great for your cardiovascular system and it helps to relieve stress and burn calories. I have been an avid runner for years and truly love it.
With that said... Running can also be very hard on your knees and joints. In fact, I've had to stop running any more than 1 day a week because I have chronic tendonitis in my knees. Also, running every day isn't necessarily the best for fat loss and it will not help you build muscle mass.
If I were you, I would cut back drastically on my running and add in some intervals, hill repeats, fartleks, stairs, and plyometric exercises in place of those long runs. I would also add in weight training 3 days a week in place of running.
I hope this helps! :) |

Hey Mike
I also play Lacrosse...
What position do you play?
you only need long distance running, if you are playing middie
You should work on sprints if you play defense or attack
you should also lift weights so you can lay more people on their ass |

| you don't need endurance for any position, you need anarobic endurance (repeated sprinting etc) |
