Hi guys! Smile

I am tired of being my skinny self and decided its time for a change.
However, being a uni student, I live on a tight budget and all i can afford and have at the moment are 2 adjustable dumbbells.

My question is, is it possible for me to do a complete workout without the help of a bench? This is because most of the dumbbells workouts i see on the net requires a bench. For example, the one-handed dumbbell row.

Any help would be appreciated greatly!

Well barring push-ups you're going to have a few problems doing Chest, but there are exercises you can do.

Bicep Curls

Tircep Extensions.

Side Raise

Front Raise.

Dumbbell Shrugs

Dumbbell Squats

Bumbbell Lunges.

Bent over Dumbbell Rows.

Dumbbell Calf Raises

Ah, overhead pushups! I'll do that. Against the wall, that is.

But i am curious as to what muscles to handstand pushups contribute to?
Does it still do the chest?

Handstand pushups work primarily the triceps, traps and deltoid muscles, so no - they don't really work the chest - especially when doing them against the wall.
If you want to work the chest, non-handstand pushups are probably your best bet. But you can do variations in order to work the chest more. For instance, by elevating your feet on a chair, you can add more of your body weight. Moving your hands closer together will also increase the "resistance". If you feel that pushups are getting too easy and want something more taxing, you could work on crossovers, clappers and single arm pushups. You could also look at adding weight on your back - a plate, a person or perhaps put some of those heavy text books to use Smile
