|
|
Hi...
I have a jar of Greens + mix at home, in particular the one for energy and well- being (gift from my mother, who decided she didn't like the taste).
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it, and what you think of it?
Thanks.. |

I tried my first shot today.
It's supposed to help you maintain a good ph in the system, too much acid from a lack of green veggies can make your systme akeline high, which interferes with protien absorbtion...or so I'm told. Its also supposed to combat fatigue. I have both a lack of greens and fatigue so I thought it might be worth a try
Boss or Sarah, have either of you had any experience with this? |

| Didn't have any problems with it this morning. I shoveled the scoopful into my protien shake. Looked very icky green color though. I think if you mix it with ice and OJ in the blender it could be good. I think if I just mixed it with water like the instructions say it would just be disgusting. |

Greens Day 2:
Feel pretty good and my focus is better than a few days before. Could be due to sending out a bunch of layouts and getting rid of those headaches, could be the Green stuff. Also now that I am taking this stuff, I am eating my green veggies. So maybe if I just keep eating the veggies, I can stop this green stuff.
Seems to make me want to pee more, but that may be to much information. Also makes any output the color of yellow reflectors on the highway at night. |

Day 3:
I'd like to retract the earlier statement about mixing it with juice in the blender. It is vile, slimy and made me want to puke.
I'm giving this stuff two more days before I get rid of it. Tomorrow I'm gonna mix the scoop in a shooter glass with water and just drop it down. If that is too gross, then I'll just eat the powder.
The only reason I am going to these lengths is to try and recoup the 29.99 I paid for it.
BTW, as far as energy goes, it doesn't work if you stay up for over 24 hours, but if someone knows something that does, please let me know. I see no light at the end of this tunnel.
back to work

this from john berardi:
While green+ can't replace a diet sufficient in vegetables, the blend of antioxidants, enzymes, phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals these products contain can be extremely helpful. I add a serving of greens+ to every protein shake I drink.
if that helps...i've never had it though |

| I have never been on it long enough to see tangible results. It is extremely bad tasting and I'm having a hard time to keep it down, unfortunately. |

Do Not Take My Advice and Shoot IT! It is a VILE VILE SUBSTANCE.
I am not hard core enough for this stuff.
So far the protien shake is the best way to down this stuff. But it make the shake a vile green color.
Taking Greens+ has made me see that eating my green veggies is much more pleasant, lesson learned. |

YES solid foods...I've been eating them for years!
But seriously, I have a hard time to eat all the things in a day that I should. The green stuff is an organic product, I'm not into chemicals, so it was worth a try. I'll finish up the jar, I think my system is getting used to it now. IF and that's a big IF I try it again, I won't buy a flavored variety, I think the flavor of the flavoring is worse than the taste LOL. (does that make sense?)
