| Hello. I am 26 y/o, 5'4, 145lbs. I have recently lost 15lbs and am becoming more happy with my body. I seem to have a problem that i don't see often..I lose a lot of my weight in my lower body. My thighs have slimmed down and my waist but I feel so top heavy. I've always had big arms and broad shoulders but its driving me crazy! I want to lose weight up top! Any suggestions. I'm doing cardio 4-6 times a week no weights yet. |

| if you've got broad shoulders than you can't change that and usually with broad shoulders you'll have big arms...wts would be a good move at this point as cardio has done all it can to this point |

You gotta pick up those weights! Broad shoulder are such an asset, once you shape them up, you'll end up with a nice v-shape. Focus on your shoulders and back (chest too).
Weights are going to help a lot. And the nice thing is most women respond quickly to upper body training, so results won't take long to see. |

Congrats on the 15 pounds. Diane has a good point that having shoulders can actually make your wasit look smaller once you are getting down near the weight you want to be.
Starting weights for your whole body would be a wonderful thing to enhance your progress. That, only with quality cardio and good nutrition will help you slim down even the parts that seem stubborn.
You can do it! Let me know if I can help at all.
