This subject would have been covered a million times before on this site; however as someone who has registered; forgotten their details, registered again and had a nightmare getting in I hope you will all bear with me!! Laughing

I have tried several proteins; Reflex, Twin Lab even the Holland and Barrett (UK shop) own brand. They all have impressive contents lists of aminos etc but I am unsure which is best.

We are all looking for value for money but with quality thrown in; therefore I'm interested to know who uses what, rough price in UK £ and results which is the reason we all train/take these things in the first place.

Also, Isolate or Concentrate; does it matter either way?

Is creatine worth in or for really hard core body builders?

Any tips would be appreciated.

ideally you want an isolate but a mkixture is very good too...

creatine can work but your calories need to be perfect before that to happen and maybe bee at a plateau for optimal benefits

I admit and still will, I gottled bottled from the gym.

Milk proteins, (30% whey), and Maltodextrin 50g of both.

Drink half, go home have a meal ot make up the remaining Protein and Carbs, and keep the other half for later. Life after opening approximately 24 hours, before deterioration.

Cost about the same as 2 big Chicken Breast, but you get the Maltodextrin too, and no mixing issues.

Also once it's finished unlike a powder, that may be used in 3-6 weeks, there's virtually no contamination possibilities, as you would finish the drink within 24 hours anyway.

Cost is a bit much for some, but factoring in the Maltodextrin, and no mix issues, whareas powders have often less than 1g Carb, but a bit more Whey content, I'm happy with my choice.

I don't advocate it as a no brainer compared to powders, but I feel the pros I've mentioned, make it a very viable choice, and I personally see no reason to ever go back to powders again.
