| A friend recommended that I take this before and after a workout. Has anyone here used it and got good results??? Is it a good product and worth the money because it's pretty expensive. |

| I've heard it's a bit Fatty, and probably better to go with a regular Protein powder. |

| Yeah, but it's not worth it for the Fat and Sugar, just on taste alone. |

I agree Bossman, I personally don't use it, I use a different kind.
Just pointing out one pro about MuscleMilk.
To also help Truthseeker, try to find a protein shake with Glutamine. It will elminate one less thing you have to take. |

Won't be hard. Glutamine is an Aminio acid present in all Protein strands, so any shake will have it in.
There may well however be ones, that give you maybe another 2-3g per scoop than a regular Protein powder, and therefore, it will be listed potentially as a seperate thing, where it's content is elevated above that of other Aminos. |

| muscle milk taste great but it is a bit higher in fats. if u want something almost as tasty as muscle milk with less fat you should try LEAN BODY SHAKES. and i think the lean body shakes have 40gms of protein while musle milk has 32-34gm |

| it is high in sugar but it is also the best tasting. the strawberry-banana, mmmm. i've never had a problem with the sugar and the good taste means that i actually drink it so overall i love muscle milk. all preference and body on the sugar though. |

Costco has a good price on EAS Premium Protein, 6 lb. bag, it has
much less fat (2.5 g per serving) than MuscleMilk.
Here's one of my favorite ways to improve the plain vanilla taste:
Buy powder Jello Sugar Free Pudding and add some of the powder to
the blender for a low-carb flavor enhancer for your shake. Jello
has some great flavors like White chocolate, banana cream, butterscotch,
pistachio, all sugar free.
Also some natural peanut butter helps too and has omega fats, not the
sugar and bad stuff from kid's peanut butter. |

Yes I too prefer the EAS brand of protien!
I also use their Myoplex pre made drinks for those times on the run. I use the Carbsense , french vanilla ones. They taste great and are packed with protien too ( I get mine at GNC by the case ) |

Joe,
I like those Myoplex carbsense too....... They are perfect for quick
protein on the go.
Is GNC's price by the case reasonable? |

Yes, but be sure to join their gold club ( it is free or I think they might be charging like a 10 buck join fee now or something I was told) but it is well worth it
I buy papaya enzymes there and N.O. Xplode and the Myoplex
so it does save me quite a lot of money.
the thing is you will have to do your shopping on the first week of the month in order to recieve your 15% discount for being a member.
but once you have that down then it is really quite reasonable, and search on google for coupons for EAS products ( you will normally find some there too for like 5 bucks off or 10% or something like that from the manufactuer as well) and of course watch for the sales at GNC themselves as they run those products on sale very often ( I usually buy I bulk then if possible too) I have found cases at buy one get 50% off the second one, and then got my gold card 15% as well as a 5 dollar off coupon from the manufactuer . hehehe I try to shop smart , money is important to me LOL sorry if I sound wierd . but hope that helps you.

money it's a good thing!
I used to have the GNC gold card but then I dropped it because all
I was buying for awhile was their vitamins - went through a burnt
out stage......LOL
Thanks again for your input! |
