I am thinking of investing in either one for working out at home coz i cant get to the gym.Which would you recommend to get best results???

I like the elliptical personally,

I do not like those seats going up my ass! hard for me to stay on them for very long at a time so I am probably biased in that regard.

a set of adjustable db's and bb's would be a much better idea

I am thinking about of cardio equipment.I will buy free weights...

Those are just abbreviations for Dumbbells, and Barbells.

Go for a Bike pure and simple. You don't carry your upper bodyweight on your Legs using one, as the weight should be channelled into the seat.

This should hopefully reduce Leg Fatigue during sessions, and lower impact on things like Knees.

that being said, you burn more cal's when you have to carry your own bodyweight but long running isn't the answer...free wt / bodyweight circuits are though and in half the time too

thanks guys,
I am running as well but its getting really cold. In warmer weather i am going to interchange..with the spin bike i will be doing sets of standing and sitting..I am currently doing free weights using the ball.Like a real class
