Depends when you take them on lifting days, and how many you have.
If you take one before bed, keep doing that, if you take one after workouts, then eat about 2-3 hours later, then you could do that on non-workout days, or sub it for food.
If you take say half to one scoop, then within an hour eat, which is what I do when I've been training at the Gym, then cut it out on non-training days, as your body won't need all that much Protein and Carbs, if your Bloodsugar and Glycogen are at normal levels. You'd be fine with just your usual meal.
If you take half to 1 scoop with a Breakfast, keep doing that.
So it depends on when and how many you do take on training days. |

Well then keep the one at Breakfast.
As for the two on workout days, have one, and have it roughly in the middle of when you'd workout.
So say you workout for 1hr, and for example you workout between 3-4PM, on non-training days you'd have the shake at 3:30PM.
That way you should have it roughly half way between the meal preceeding it, and the meal following it |
