| I was looking into getting a 12-15 pound weight vest. I have heard that they help, but I also think that in actuality they aren’t as good as they are lead up to be. |

| I've heard before, they are quite restricting, and quite tight, and may cause a slight bit of Chest pain, if you're not necessarily strong enough in the Chest, so be careful incase that's a possiblity. |

| they're great for ading load to jumps, pull ups, push ups etc so you you don't need to hand wt off you...depends what you need it for i suppose...if you canlt too high at the moment or do 10 pull ups at bodyweight than you might not even need it |

bossman if that can give you chest pain, can football equipment thats too tight also hurt? it constricted my breathing and hurt a little and i had to quit football cause it felt like i almost broke a rib and for a good 2 months i couldnt jump or anything that involved getting a shock through the body...
i wasn't sure if it was because some 200lb guys tackled me when i barely weighed 120 or becauseof the equipment... which one do u htink it is? |

I'm not entirely sure, as I never played that being british, but I'd expect it's down to muscle mass. The more Chest and Torso mass you have the more cushioning you'd get for the Ribcage.
Just a thought though. |

| Weight vests are pretty restritive I've used them with pushups and jump squats as well as while doing some running. I found it a very good way to add weight to BW exercises. |
