My friend ray was giving me a ride home but we had to go to his house to drop off his little brother and when we got there his dad called him and said not to take his brother to practice because there was a tornado watch and stuff
so we shrugged it off and were watching tv when the power went out and we were like hmm...weird.
so 20 seconds after that his dads runs in the house and is like guys come look at this so me ray and his little brother go to the door and less than 50 yards away is a huge tornado with debris flying everywhere and we go get in the pantry and wait and it passe snad there is shaking and stuff and loud crashes.
when we come out we go outside and pieces of WOOD are stuck into BRICK houses..there are garages gone and it was as bad as i thought..but i walked two houses down and saw the rest of the neighborhood...or lack there of.
i could move or didnt know what to think..more than 30-50 houses were gone..just rubble..people were crawling out from them...car sirens were going off, one house was in the river that winds behind the neighborhood.
so we were running from house to house trying to get people out..and sometimes we couldnt because they were dead, they worst view of all was one house was brick and completely nothing, just rubble..and i walked over and all i saw was a hand sticking out bloody, i started puking everywhere.
this was a very tramutizing experience..its chaos over here 3 neighborhoods were hit and all the major roadways are closed.
and the worst thing was i was 2 houses away..less than 30 yards.
and i loved it, the feeling of almost die'ing, it was amazing. |

where abouts was that?
i wouldn;t say a near death is an "amazing" feeling but hopefully it gives you new perspective on life so that you won't take your running talent's for granted, work at them, get your grades up and actually do something with your life |
