Never had any favourites.
Like the Rocky films, Like Bond movies, watched Eric the Viking 3 times when it came out years ago on Video. Seen some of the Hellraiser Films, original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Beverly Hills Cop Trilogy, quite a few DeNiro ones, Jackie Chan, Enter the Dragon as well, to name but some.
Basically anything that might have action, decent comedy, horror, that kind of works for me.

| I love everything about this movie - the dark ending, the Greek and biblical references, the water as a means of power, sight/soul play, everything |

I thought The Departed was highly over rated. Goodfellas was a far superior movie by Scorcesse. The Aviator was a better movie by him as well. When Jack's part turned out the way it did, that was just too much and too much of a cop out. It was well acted for sure but not deserving of Best Picture.
Next time you watch it, look for the scene where Jack takes off DeCaprio's cast and then beats his hand with that boot - if you look closely, you'll see he doesn't come near hitting his hand as the boot comes way past it and pounds the pool table. Nice camera angle to help pull that off. |
