split squat x 15

Is this: Dumbbell Split Squat an acceptable interpretation?

Quote:
chest supported db row alternating arms

What advantage does alternating arms have over the following?
Chest supported dumbell rows

Workout 1 was fantastic.

workout 2 - split squat x 15, rest 15secs, inverted row, rest, push up, rest, face pull, rest, diamond push up x 3 resting 15secs each time

[/quote]

Wa only able to complete (2) circuits with proper form. Should rest time increase, or lower weights?

Thanks so much, the results of your post have been immediate. On the off days Jumping rope and ab exercises, is this too much?

workout 3 - front squat / db row / reverse lunge / db incline press / shoulder press / bodyweight tricep extension 4 x 8, do in pairs with 30secs btw sets

Week 1 has been grand. With workout (3) should the most weight encouraging failure be used, since the decrease in reps? Is this true with all your thoughtful workouts.

Many Thanks! Very Happy

Would this Weight Set be a good addition to my current 150lb rubber hex dumbell set?

Check out the smaller one with 115lb, it's only $39.99, the 160lb one is $130

So you're paying another $90.01 for another 45lb, which is approximately $2 per lb of weight.

I'm pretty sure if you bought the smaller one, and could source the extra 45lb in additional discs from somewhere, on-line or local to you, you could buy the 45lbs for less than the $90, it would be costing you as part of a 160 lb set.

Approximate saving with that method, $20-$40, but that's a rough guess.
