| Basically anything you eat that contains vitamin A will help maintain your eyesight/help night vision. |

You need Beta-carotene sources like Carrotts, Broccoli, Pistachios etc etc, and things like Lutein and Zeaxanthin sources like Corn, Kale, Spinach, and some Leafy veggies etc etc.
Vitamin A can also have benefits too.
Although if you feel you've got or may be getting eyesight problems, try supplemental Lutein. |

Keep in mind that vitamin A is fat-soluble and can be toxic at high levels, causing hypervitaminosis. This can result from consuming too many supplements or foods with a high concentration of a specific nutrient. Supplements would not be safe for someone at your age unless recommended by your doctor.
Canned pumpkin (plain, not pie filling) is really high in vitamin A. |
