When you jumprope, you work out your whole body. Does this mean like your working out with bodyweights/weights? Is this the same thing like playing basketball, soccer, football, etc..?

nothing stunts your growth, you'll grow as tall as you are meant to genetically...skipping is a low level plyometric exercise, a medium level plyo exercise would be box jumps and a high level plyo exercise would be depth jump to name a few...playing basketball would be mostly high level with some medium levl involved but far more strenuous than basic skipping

Growth stunting would be attributed to things like Dwarfism, Spinabifida etc etc, certain genetic conditions.

Weightlifting won't do anything like that Cho, so don't worry about it.

I have a friend who jump roped his way to success. He would jump rope about a half hour every day and was on some insanely strict diet, resulting in a loss of about 25 lbs in a month. It was crazy.

I personally think it's one of the best overall exercises. People were staying in shape by jumping rope long before fitness clubs and expensive machines.

25lbs a month is silly and unhealthy. You probably knew that Fire, but clearly he didn't, or chose to ignore that. Not being rude but nobody needs to lose weight that quickly.
