This may be a dumb question, but there is a kind of new bowflex for sale cheap around here... What I'm wondering is will it do me any good for strength training and getting bigger, or is it for toning? Can I work my legs and forearms with one? I really don't have any equipment other than an AB Lounge and a couple of dumbbells so this could be the best I run into.
Thanks for your answers in advance |

| i haven't been on one bit it seems to work on leverage rather than a load progression...this is what gymnast's do and they are the strongest people on earth..nt that any maxchine will get you that strong but i like the principle but again i haven't been on one...i have gymnastic rings which are the same and i know they're bloody hard...if its cheap and of decent quality why not get it? although if you can some more wts and a barbell you;d be better serves buying them |

| Never heard much good about Bowflex's save for their being quite good for 100lb women. For guys looking ot get good workouts and some good mass, don't bother. Free weights rule over old cheap Bowlfex anyday. |

| I wrote a review for a Bowflex Blaze here. I do like mine. There are some positives and some negatives, which you can see in that review. Feel free to ask me more questions. |
