Wasn't sure were to atually put this but from approximately the age of 12 or so i realized i had depression and had bad fights with it every now and then.... well since i started working out i noticed that it really helped to get rid of it i dont exactly workout in the healthiest of manners when it i do get depressed for instance my last time 15 minutes in i ended up feeling like vomiting and i just keeped pushing myself for another hour and 15 but it just lifts everything and clears it away .... I was wondering what is possibly the deal with working out that it does that for me and what not.... normally i do workout very healthy and dont push like that but i wont change cause it helps get rid of the depression...

mate if you feel like vomiting you need to take it easy, that is not cool...if you feel a bout coming on then still train but cyut the wts and vol down a little...some personal trainer's love making people spew, i think it's just ridiculous...yes training is great for depression, schizo etc...also try fish oil capsules mate, they'd do you good start with 4g a day (4 caps) ad work up to 9 or so over a number of weeks...great for the brain and keep up the good work

it's just fish oil, it's gold so take it, the omega 3's...
it's basically the self confidence and the endorphions kick in to give you a mental lift |

If you don't eat it, add Whole-grain Cereal to your food itinery, or possibly if you eat one bowl, have two a day.
The Inositol content, (sometimes referred to as B8 ), has been shown to be benefical for people with depession or OCD, (Obsessive Compulsve Disorder).
Inositol gets released by Gut Bacteria to my knowledge, or alternatively, you might find you could supplement with it.
There is something called B-complex or possibly others like it, that has the compliment of B's, and should include Inositol hopefully, and the B's should help to release nutrients in your food as well, so this option might be one way to help yourself with Depression.

You could try supplemental Inositol and see how you go.

Totally agree with the fish oil. Also flax and salmon oil is very good for depression, OCD, ADD and other mood/brain disorders.
